The 35th ISB will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, South Africa, during 18-23 October 2026. Set those dates in your diaries now! The symposium chair will be Prof Thanyani Pandelani with co-chair

Please submit all queries to info@sabo.co.za.  Mr Cedric Brijraj is the conference Registrar.  The first call for abstracts is attached below and available to download.  The link to the IBS website for the abstract submission is also attached and available to download.  The abstract deadline is 22 February 2026 with final full papers due by 24 July 2026.  There has been significant interest in attending the symposium during the 34th ISB held in Jacksonville, USA.  Due to this interest the Symposium will feature 2 parallel streams of presentations.  Please ensure that timeous abstracts are sent in for review for post poster and paper presentations.  The regular IBS technical review process shall apply.
